Eldorado in Atlin

Great first day in Atlin, this recent storm was about 20cm at our place in town and was between 50-60cm at 1300m. The new snow was quite light and fun to ski but there is nothing below it, so we tread lightly! Shooting crack on any feature that had a bit of wind affect and the alpine had visible spindrift all day from the east. Attached is a profile, nothing much of note, no crust at the bottom but effectively nothing below this recent storm snow. -12 at 1300m at 1PM
