Spearhead Glacier

Skied out from Blackcomb BC down to decker lake. Ski crampons nice to get up the glacier as it was glazed and firm in the shade. Descent to decker was firm but edgeable. We toured up to the shoulder of spearhead glacier and then headed up Stairmaster on Phalanx where the sun was going strong. The boot pack was well frozen in but stepping off was mushy and a breakable sun crust over softer sun affected powder. Warrior couloir was a nice aspect and had corned up perfectly as we dropped in at noon. Corona bowl shortly after that was still very firm with little ski pen.
