Harvey pass Nov 17 - snowing and windy

South Rockies

Headed up to Harvey pass. Improving coverage (still lots of exposed rock) and some nice light snow throughout the day. There was also very significant wind. Seemed to be coming from the south blowing some snow into curveball, but could be bit of a concern for forming windslab on wild thing etc. We avoided curveball itself but skied some of the (smaller) trees in area and had a pretty good run. We didn’t dig any pits but pole testing does suggest there are some layers there worth keeping an eye on. We also didn’t ourselves experience any whumpfing. (See Friday’s report.)
