Skied a short 70m run to the south of Hollyburn and it was a few cm of light snow on a supportive crust. Then skied the NW side of the ridge leading down to lot 3B. We rode 100 m or so of good snow on a crust and then it turned into a terrible rain crust with survival skiing back to the car.
New snow seems to be bonding well to the crust where it exists. No observations of slabs reacting on the crust layer.
