No tears to the onion

<p>On our day tour to the onion we observed a recent size 2 avalanche under the headwall near bow hut, likely triggered by icefall.
The glacier above bow hut consisted of facets over breakable crust which meant variable ski penetration (avg 15cm) and cautious skiing. Snow depth was 250+. Hand shears did produce results down ~40cm but this layer was not reactive with skinning or skiing.
Notably the ice cave is mostly obscured and warrants caution coming down.</p>
