15cm storm snow from Feb 12 sits on previous wind affect, overlying a weak and facetted mid pack to ground. A test pit was dug at 2250m on SW aspect. An extended column test resulted in propagation across the entire column in the moderate range on the 16th tap, down 60cm in the facets.
