crow foot glades chutes

We road the wide open roadside chute. Observed cross loading from north west winds blowing up the chute at the top. 3 cm wind crust on top of powder at the entrance and good quality powder down below. The winds were really strong at times even in the trees walking up the skin track. Heard an avalanche come down somewhere close but could not see it, also observed a old size 1 avalanche under the headwall. Other than that no signs of instability. Overall the day was amazing
