Obs from around shames. Winds started out light from the south in the am increasing to moderate through out the day and switching to north at ridge top. Snowing 1cm an hour from about 12:00 on. Wind transport and wind slab development evident on lee slopes. Around -5 in the alpine. We had good viz first thing and saw no natural slab avalanches in the north bowl/Geronimo areas. On south and south west aspects there was evidence of pin wheeling from the strong solar effect on Friday. Ski quality was good on north and east aspects with boot pen of 40cm.
