Crowfoot Mountain

Had a beautiful day today up at Crowfoot mountain. Light to moderate winds throughout the day. Temperatures were -21 at the Num-tih-jah lot at 8:30 a.m. and -7 when we returned at 3:15 p.m. Conditions through the gully were the best I have seen, easy travel. Watched a cornice drop/small size 1 loose dry avalanche from steep terrain over cliffs on a NW aspect. Windward slopes near the summit were wind-hammered, however we had surprisingly great turns from ~2900m back down to the gully skiing N-NW moderately angled terrain.
