Crossed the Neve on Saturday among many others. Saw lots of wet loose avalanche debris on all aspects except North. Lots of pinwheeling too. Gargoyles had avalanched big presumably after the last snow cycle. Solar aspects had a melt-freeze crust that was warming by midday, North aspects skied relatively ok in the afternoon and likely had a crust before things warmed up, snow was wet and heavy. Above 2000 m the clouds made it hard to see state of glacier or cornices. Things looked pretty filled in on the glaciers. Lake is still frozen with no visible openings, switchbacks with good coverage down to km3 mark.
