Alpine near the lakes held mostly powder with some firm, wind-affected areas. Dug a pit below Chokestone Couloir with no signs of reactivity (done informally). Observed wind-affected snow on the ascent and avoided these features. Performed a quick stability check near the entrance with no results. Did not enter the couloir due to time constraints. Noted several sluffs across the lake. On exit, observed several larger sluffs, possibly slab avalanches on the north ridge (south aspect). The north aspect (choke stone side) did not have any issues. Unfortunately, my video/camera footage was corrupted so no photos.
