Measured air temp 1-3 degrees through the day. Cooled off again in the afternoon. Heavy dense snow. Results from pit - details in detail report. Some debris from yesterday or last night in storm cycle.

Slight greenhouse effect on surface snow.

CTE8 and CTM12 - sudden planner down 60cm. Storm slab staying unified (see photo) and failing on the Mf crust that is now becoming facets. Small results down 8cm on a resistant deteriorating crust. Most avalanche activity from the day before sliding on this smaller crust. Snow pack temps support rounding of this upper layer and not so on the 60cm facets.
