Thunder Meadows

1970m, S, 31 degree. Snow depth 170cm. EXTM20 (70cm planar). This failed 5cm below the Dec rain crust on a more faceted layer. The crust was quite thin at this elevation. Riding was good in the morning but the snow progressively got heavier and slabbier with the warming temps and gusting wind.
