Spearhead 190206

One skier accidental 0.5 windslab observed at pin location in steep, cross loaded feature. Rider triggered but not taken out. Riders hitting all aspects and angles today, with only one avalanche observed. Most aspects in alpine have had significant hammering by winds, especially near ridge tops. Lots of sastrugi to 50cm depth on NW and SE aspects of ribs. Windcrusts and slabs to 40cm thick but well-bounded to lower layers. No results in stability tests. Observations from 1700-2600m.
