Quick Observation

Arrived midday temp was -17, at 2pm it was -11. Warm and no wind. Tree skiing was awesome, although easy to fall in little pockets of holes where baby trees hide. Once in alpine, solid, icy, wind blown. Witnessed group of skiers ski a small wind loaded area, heard massive whoompf and the snow shifted as slabs below. The wind loaded snow was heavy and hard to turn (they all fell over). Could see what looks like avalanche to right, refer pic. The sun was warm, the ice too was melting.
