Boxing Day at Beadnell

Thanks Santa. Our little island was smashed by a few storms over the holidays. Today, at Mt Beadnell, we were pleased to find anywhere between 0-200 cm of new snow. South aspects were scoured down to the most recent crust in places. While northerly aspects have been loaded with 2-3 times more snow than the storm delivered. We produced moderate results in snowpack tests. Riding quality in simple terrain was delicious. Don’t let all this new snow tempt you too much, BTL travel is still tricky. Many creeks are still open.
