Gorgeous day out at Bow Summit today. Some pretty serious wind affect on the ridge and variable storm/wind loading on the skiable slopes. We skied three of the main chutes which held surprisingly amazing snow. No signs of whumpfing or instability. A hasty pit revealed a resistant planar layer approx 40cm down, presumably the storm slab. Did see evidence of a couple of size 2 avalanches across the valley on some Southwest features that were probably triggered during the recent storm/wind event
