Callaghan

Went for an exploratory tour into the alpine today. Stuck to mellow slopes. No evidence of recent avalanche activity. Alpine was quite wind affected which produced pockets where a 20cm slab pulled off easily in a hand pit. Best skiing was sheltered areas below 1600m and at treeline.
