Shames backcountry

About 24cm of new snow made for really good skiing. Steep roles did avalanche with one solid storm slab in Fayzurs and a few smaller ones in the Knolls. Be careful when skiing steep slopes above terrain traps and dense trees. The slabs went down fast today. We finished with a run down the Fayzurs and into the lower end of Waterfall—the damages over there are enormous with a lot of mature trees down and a new U shape to the creek drainage… it’s impressive and really hard to navigate back towards the resort.
