Rode SW through S to E asp today from 1650m and down. Steady snowfall through day at S1-2. Snow rightside up in forest with ski pen to 45cm. Evidence of a cycle earlier in the week on 180115 mfcr with significant reload. Some whumpfing but no cracking in trees. Steep convexities at TL E asp could be cut, failing as small slabs over 180115 mfcr. Skied to 45 degrees in old growth down to 1250m where new snow accumulation was about 15-20cm using different routes each time. Only concerns are open creeks that can be quite a way down. No wind in TL and BTL zones here today.
