Due to all the whumpfing we had to choose a super-conservative route up. There were 5 S1 avalanche paths from the day before with their start zones in the typical steep (about 38°) convex and a bit wind loaded slopes. Ski cutting the remaining slab above the start zone produced an about 20m long and 50cm deep crack (pic 1), but it was hard to send the slab down the slope (pic 2) as the slab as well as the bed surface was quite soft.
