Crowfoot glades

Riding conditions were pretty good in the trees, in more open terrain it was still ok, but crusty under around 10-15cm of fresh snow, lots of signs of recent avalanche activity on solar aspects, and the snow started to be significantly impacted by the sun from around 2pm, temp had increased by around 10C from when we arrived to when we left.

Mainly cloudy in the morning, the sun was able to break through lots of broken cloud from midday onwards, temp in the morning was around - 5C, rising to +5C when we left in the afternoon.
