Still very thin snowpack up to 1800 m. Probably around 1m HST at 1800 m (although didnt measure). Talus areas were quite talus-y and slow going picking our way through on the way up. Stomping pillows on the way up, the top 15-20cm would easily break and slide off. Up around 1800m on a small convex slope we got a shooting crack due to the forming wind slab with the day's storm winds. Snowed very lightly all day, not much accumulation.
