We observed a D1 wind slab avalanche that was triggered by a snowmobiler that likely occurred 1/17 or early on 1/18. We dug a pit on a nearby similar slope. Snow depth was 125cm and our results were ECT4P@25cm. Our results were not immediately obvious, so we performed a CT4@25cm to confirm our ECT. Our persistent weak layer (ice layer) buried in December is starting to settle and become less reactive. Cracking observed on wind loaded slopes
