Snowpack

Periods of Rain over the last few days mixed with warm temps have definitely saturated the upper snowpack. Raincrust felt underfoot during first few runs at the resort, soften up as temps and sun exposure increased. Entire pit was moist with coldest temp, T30 at -0.7. Aside from surface rain crust, another two evident in upper - mid third of the snowpack. Presumed Dec. 1st, Nov. 23rd but today was our first day in the area. Crusts are decomposing with increased snowpack temperatures. Bottom third consists of consolidated layer between 28 - 61. Variable F - 4F, consisting of largely RG, 1mm. - ECTN26 down 34 on Mixed-Forms, RG / FC 1-2. - CTN
