Quick Observation

The day was warm and cloudy but the visibility was good. There was new snow (10-15cm). The snow was very sticky and wet but the traveling was not bad. We didn't experienced signs of instability but we saw an 1 or 2 days old avalanche debris in the gully right next to the one we skied (see photo 3 & 4). Red lines in the photo shows the crowns. According to the debris and the crowns (we were at 50m of the crowns) it was a size 2.5. Skiing was good and creamy!!! We skied the North aspect at 1300m. 10am: no wind. Noon: calm wind 14:30: Moderate wind with snowfall (raining at road level) Here some data about our test: HS:205cm ECTN19 RP (Resistant Planar) down 20cm CTM18 down 10cm CTH20 down 20cm I didn't have my thermometer with me.
