3 days skiing great stable snowpack. Interesting avalanche noticed on the sled in. Storm snow was great on Friday then a slight sun crust developed for Saturday. Snowboarding was fantastic. Skiing slightly harder. Very firm and supportive made for hard landings and the odd hard "kick" from a buried terrain feature. Up high was Styrofoam. Very obviously wind effected. Still some goods to be found in more sheltered features.
Snowpack
20cm of nice pow. Firm underneath, getting firmer with depth. Test done on a north face, approx 35 degree slope. Sheltered, sort of Lee feature, at or slightly above treeline.
