We skied a bowl in the Perry Creek drainage today. Dug a pit at treeline (1700 m) on NE facing slope. Hs 125 cm. Top 10 cm is wind pressed., Light crust layers at 20 cm down and 40 down, 35 cm facets at base. Crusts weren't reactive. Good powder in the trees below the pit, but the alpine is wind hammered, as it usually is here.
