dug a pit at ~1300 masl on a NE facing slope in an open trees glade, no result from the extended column (ECT X). The Dec 4 rain crust was 65 cm down and was fairly decomposed. Alpine slope above provide a mix of soft powder and wind crust. at treeline the snow was mix of deep powder and sun crust.
