Still dry up high

Today we took a poke up the Perry river to do a bit of exploring in the high country. We found dry snow on northerly aspects above 2200 m and crusty or moist surfaces everywhere else. Cornices were the primary hazard on our minds in the areas traveled today. We didn’t observe any recent avalanche activity.
