Probing in wind affected terrain east of Flute summit showed base of 115cm - 130 cm, wind affects, noticeable resistance at 45 cm and 90 cm. Probing lower down in sheltered terrain in singing pass still 130 cm, 5-10cm resistance at 55 cm and then some more at 90. Crusty to the bottom. Dirty pit dug at MIN marker, not significantly wind affected area. Deeper than expected at ~170 cm, only dug to 130 cm. Storm snow looks nice, compacts well and humid. Then thin 3 cm crust at the 50 cm ish down. 75 cm down another thicker crust. The latter of these had larger crystals 🔮. Both crust sets are cohesive and have not degraded or percipitated loose facets. At 130cm down another hard crust thicker and harder than the other two. Snow between crusts was compact and appeared hydrated. Did a mediocre column test really only isolated to the first crust. Guarded read is good compaction.
