Quick Observation

Did 3 laps around Mulligan that were surprisingly good, the wind was howling straight sideways N/NE ripping all the snow off the open cutblock, it also buried the skin track each run. Deep wind drifts and bare crust along the ridge up. Northeast trees had deep snow up to 30cm and couldnt feel any hard warming crust underneath. Elephant snot below 1300m and nice powder above. Wind ripped most snow off the south facing open trees , as expected the suncrust was bulletproof underneath and the treebombs were solid and deadly. Rain turned to snow @ 900M -6 @1500m at 3pm Minimal slush and ice to the highest parking spots now, the log skidder up there has been busy.
