Whistler was reporting 29cm in previous 48 hours so potentially 30+ in area. Noticed slide from across the drainage on flute ridge at 2:15pm. Had been looking out that way most of the day so I think it slid between 1:30-2:15pm. No sign of skiers caught in the avalanche when I noticed. Ski tracks into apex of crown, avalanche crown ran down the slope and it slid skiers right off a cornice ridge or steep convexity.
