Quick Observation

Incredibly poor ski conditions. Good climbing conditions though

Avalanche Information

Evidence of two Sz2(+), and a couple Sz1 Na CS Nc from cornice failure from high above. Unknown slide date. Small pieces of ice were falling all day. It's possible that more cornice fall could occur, but there is likely no more slab for it to trigger N of Thomas Peak. It would have been spectacular to witness as it cascaded down from bench to bench.

Temp obs was likely colder than regional average

Snowpack

Incredibly crusty snow with near 0 foot pen. SH present in valley bottoms near creeks. Isolated pockets of FC on surface. The incoming storm pulse, and slow steady accumulation in the next week will likely not bond well to what's on the ground.
