Wind and more wind

No riding today but we thought we would share some observations from Core Lodge. At the weather station, sheltered areas had approx 50cm. We found the surface hoar down 10cm. Alpine looked scoured to rock with loaded pockets of wind slab. The wind was extreme all day and moving dirt as well as snow. When we left in the afternoon it was overcast and snowing.
