Quick report
Observed average HS ~60cm @ 9,400 feet, skin-able from the trailhead, but would not call it ski-able. Neat near-surface/surface hoar in the top 10cm of the pack; a trace amount of low-density snowfall from yesterday was faceting extensively and quickly in the cold temps and clear skies.
3cm melt-freeze crust at the ground was better to see than just facets.
[Technically in the Gros Ventres but likely resembles the Palisade section of the Teton zone and marked closest zones or further north sections of the Greys]
