Ledge Basin

We went to the couloirs around Ledge today, hoping to ski one of them. Unfortunately even on the alpine north facing slopes the surface snow was warm. There were regular large sluffs off all steep slopes. We chose not to ski the steep slopes. We also heard a few avalanches - tho we couldn't see them - possibly they were the other side of Ledge Mountain.
