Nice day at the Gorge

Fun day out skiing, good powder conditions in protected areas. Snowpack depth ~120cm around 1900m on NW facing aspect. Did two column tests, first one was reactive at 4 taps from elbow, 15cm down, planar failure on facets above rain crust. Second failed, non planar at 9 from elbow on Nov. 5th rain crust around 30cm down.
