Mount Harvey south face

Lots of loose surface slides from previous 24 or 48 hours but nothing on day of ascent. High thin overcast from mid morning on provided less solar radiation and there was no significant surface instability on the descent at 1 PM.

Mountain top winds about 15 to 20 km/hr. Light and variable below 1400 meters.

Loose surface slides and pinwheels on crust down 10 to 15 cm from the previous 24 or 48 hours. No significant snow movement on the day of the ascent.
