Variable powder-schmoo on variable sun crusts

15-20cm settling storm snow (getting schmooey on south aspects by noon) sits on sun crusts (ranging from 20cm thick on steep true south) to 1-2cm and breakable on lower angled E or SW aspects. The top 10-15cm was reactive on steep south facing slopes (shooting cracks)... overall it was quite variable and not exactly carefree skiing! Maybe best to seek out high(er) north facing aspects?

Likely ran on the old sun crust... Tues or Weds during the last storm.
