Stormy S2SG

New rain crust from 12/28 made travel below 1250m pretty tough up and down. Above that point the precip fell as snow and no real instabilities noted in the trees down to ledge basin. It seems to have bonded well where sheltered from the wind. We did not get any real obs in more exposed terrain but new crowns were visible at the top of Ledge and Gunsight couloirs. Storm came in around 11am and was falling steadily as snow down to the Gondy and below. Road was sticky on the skate out.
