Alpen Mountain Skiing/Hiking

Went up Alpen mountain. starting even at 3:30am, snow was wet right from the get-go, and only got worse after about 10am or so when the clouds thinned out a bit and precipitation ceased. snow was terrible for skiing, wet, sticky, and like glue. produced a 1.5, saw debris from natural avalanches as well

snow was softer here (by a bit) than surrounding terrain, started a ski cut and within seconds produced an ~1.5 slide, going along the top of this slope even very slowly I continued to release snow, until I got to a point where I could ski straight down with little pressure, and get out of the runout zone. snow was exceedingly soft, wet, and loose
