Quick Observation
Mountain mentors day out. Goals for today were kickturns and snow discussions during a storm (goals accomplished). Few avalanches noted during our outing, seen above the trees uptrack, described in the avalanche tab. Notable remote trigger pictured.
Avalanche Information
Avalanche crown in pic is 2m from the skin track, in the final steep pitch before the fork heading toward Habrich ridge or stadium glacier. Met the party that remote triggered it, they were there shortly before us. Saw two more avalanches in the path ahead of that point ~sz 1.5 each. Both burying previous skin tracks. One heading up toward ledge with a storm slab crown above (skin tracks buried). Another avalanche burying tracks toward stadium glacier, just below cleavage bowl. Low vis and slightly flat lighting so couldn’t see trigger point or if crown present, but it slid aways. Debris can be seen behind remote triggered avi crown in photo.
