Log cabin south

Found excellent, sheltered pow laps on the more southerly treed slopes of log cabin between roadside and treeline with ~20cm of well supported, soft new snow. Not surprisingly, and similarly to other MINs from today in this general area, at and above treeline was a blend of dust on very hard crust and some breakable crust. No signs of instability observed here but unpleasant ski conditions kept us happily lapping lower elevations. It was very calm with gentle snow falling all day in this zone, with viz decreasing throughout the afternoon.
