Cold feet

Pit dug for curiosity, first pit of the year. Snow pack 173cm. Failure CT 8 on the storm layer. Failure CT21 on weak faceted layer at 150cm. No signs of instability or recent avalanches. Cut new steep skin trail no sign of instability. Had conservative plans but found confidence in the snow and skied steep open trees and chutes.
