Fraser

The field team did a tour of Fraser area. At lower treeline the recently formed surface hoar is buried under 4cm of light new snow. Beneath the surface hoar is 30cm of low density facets. The new snow sits on hard wind affected surfaces at upper treeline. See avalanche tab for info on wind slab shown in photo.

Old hard wind slab in small wind loaded feature at upper treeline above the sled trail approach to Bryant Lake. Suspected sled triggered.
