Rethel

Lots of avy debris at the bottom of rethel, but there was still good powder to be found in the protected area of the couloir. Where there wasn’t powder there was hard to edge crust with some light dust. Most other couloirs and steeps in the area had also slid. We were able to get up to 1000m in a 4x4 vehicle with chains. We hiked most of the trail up in crampons and runners.
