Busy day at Jimmy Junior

Quite a few parties up at Jimmy Junior bowl today, counted a little over 20 people. Ski quality good, with average 10cm of fist on top of a firmer supportive midpack. Snowed S-1 all day with wind transport intensifying throughout day, plenty of blowing snow off the headwall loading the top of the bowl. By the time we left around 1430 we noticed the newly transported snow was filling in previous tracks and a soft slab had begun to develop, hand shears failing at the interface with previous surfaces or within the new snow. Other parties reported CTM results down 25. Minimal cracking, but the slab seemed to be stiffening right as we left.
