Low angle turns in Chickadee Valley

ACC Calgary section BITS trip. Toured up Chickadee Valley with expectation for a tour and to check out some low angle slopes. No whumphing or signs of instability noted or signs of recent avalanches. Decided on a mellow, South facing, gladed slope. Lower elevation had nice powder but sun crust after about 100m elevation gain. Rode three laps in the morning and then headed out as temperatures started to warm up in the afternoon. One of the nicest days this season!
