Hollyburn

Toured up along sw ridge of hollyburn mtn this morning. Approximately 30 cm over the existing layer. Skiied glades and the snow was suprigsingly quite nice and not coastal cement. Coverage was quite decent and the steep trees were a treat to ski. Produced a small avalanche on a ski cut over a convexity near 1250 despite the avalanche rating being low below treeline. Otherwise,snow appeared to be quite stable. Face shots!
